In 2026 Krombacher is launching a Phase 1 partner program for New Zealand, selecting exclusive trade partners in Auckland, Wellington & the Lower North Island, Christchurch & the South Island and for national hospitality.
New Zealand’s beer market totals around 3 million hectolitres a year, with imported beer accounting for roughly 15% of volume. Discerning drinkers and a strong hospitality and tourism scene create real demand for authentic European premium lagers. Krombacher brings the German Reinheitsgebot of 1516 and its own protected water source, Felsquellwasser®, to this category.
