About Krombacher in Ireland
Krombacher is one of Germany’s leading independent breweries – family-owned since 1803, brewed in the same Sauerland village for more than two centuries and exported to over 40 countries. In 2026 Krombacher is launching a Phase 1 partner program for Ireland and is selecting exclusive trade partners in Dublin, Cork & Munster, Galway & the West and for nationwide hospitality.
Ireland has a beer market of around 4 million hectolitres a year, with imported brands accounting for roughly 30 percent of volume – one of the most open beer markets in Europe. Continental lagers have a firm place in Irish pubs, hotels and restaurants. Krombacher brings the German Reinheitsgebot of 1516 and its own protected water source, Felsquellwasser®, to this category.

Krombacher Pils is the flagship – Germany’s best-selling premium pils. The Phase 1 portfolio is completed by Krombacher Hell (the smooth lager), Krombacher Weizen (Bavarian-style wheat beer) and Krombacher 0,0% for the growing alcohol-free segment.
