About Krombacher in Cyprus
Krombacher is one of Germany’s leading independent breweries – family-owned since 1803, brewed in the same Sauerland village for more than two centuries and exported to over 40 countries. In 2026 Krombacher is launching a Phase 1 partner program for Cyprus, selecting exclusive trade partners in Nicosia, Limassol & Paphos, Larnaca & Ayia Napa and for hospitality across the island.
Cyprus consumes around 600,000 hectolitres of beer a year, with imported beers accounting for roughly 25% of the market. Tourism and a lively hospitality scene in the cities and coastal resorts drive demand for premium imported beer. Krombacher brings the German Purity Law of 1516 (Reinheitsgebot) and its own protected spring, Felsquellwasser®, to this category.
