About Krombacher in Qatar

Krombacher is one of Germany’s leading independent breweries – family-owned since 1803, brewed in the same Sauerland village for more than two centuries and exported to more than 40 countries. In 2026 Krombacher is launching a Phase 1 partner program for Qatar and is selecting exclusive trade partners in Doha, West Bay & The Pearl, Lusail and for licensed hospitality across the country.

Qatar has a beer market of around 200,000 hectolitres per year, almost all of which – roughly 95% – is imported. Distribution of alcoholic beverages is state-controlled: alcoholic beer reaches the market exclusively through Qatar Distribution Company (QDC), which supplies licensed hotels and venues. Krombacher brings the German Reinheitsgebot of 1516 and its own protected spring, Felsquellwasser®, to Qatar – starting with the alcohol-free Krombacher 0,0%.

The portfolio for Qatar

The Qatari portfolio is led by the alcohol-free Krombacher 0,0%, suitable for retail, restaurants and cafés. The alcoholic range – Krombacher Pils, Germany’s best-selling premium pils, Krombacher Hell, the mild lager, and Krombacher Weizen, a Bavarian-style wheat beer – is supplied exclusively via the licensed channel of Qatar Distribution Company (QDC) to licensed hotels and venues.

Partners receive an exclusive multi-year territory, co-funded launch marketing, compliant B2B brand materials and 24/7 access to TheHUB – Krombacher’s digital partner platform.
