About Krombacher in Israel
Krombacher is one of Germany’s leading independent breweries – family-owned since 1803, brewed in the same Sauerland village for more than two centuries and exported to over 40 countries. In 2026 Krombacher is launching a Phase 1 partner program for Israel and is selecting exclusive trade partners for Tel Aviv & Gush Dan, Jerusalem, Haifa & the North and for nationwide hospitality.
Israel’s beer market amounts to around 1.2 million hectolitres a year, with imports accounting for roughly 30 per cent. Demand for premium imported beer is concentrated in the bar and restaurant scene of the major cities and in the tourism centres. Krombacher brings the German Reinheitsgebot of 1516 and its own protected water source, Felsquellwasser®, into this category.
The portfolio for Israel
Krombacher Pils is the flagship – Germany’s best-selling premium pils. The Phase 1 portfolio is completed by Krombacher Hell (the smooth lager), Krombacher Weizen (Bavarian-style wheat beer) and Krombacher 0,0% for the growing alcohol-free segment.
