About Krombacher in Namibia
Krombacher is one of Germany’s leading independent breweries – family-owned since 1803, brewed in the same Sauerland village for more than two centuries and exported to over 40 countries. In 2026 Krombacher is launching a Phase 1 partner program for Namibia and is selecting exclusive trade partners in Windhoek & Central Namibia, Swakopmund & Walvis Bay, the North & Etosha and for nationwide hospitality.
Namibia has a beer market of around 2 million hectolitres a year, of which imported beer accounts for roughly 15%. Shaped in part by its German heritage, the country has a proud brewing culture of its own, and Krombacher joins it with respect – as a complementary German premium speciality for hotels, safari lodges, tourism and modern retail. Krombacher brings the German Reinheitsgebot of 1516 and its own protected water source, Felsquellwasser®, to this category.

Krombacher Pils is the flagship – Germany’s best-selling premium pils. The Phase 1 portfolio is completed by Krombacher Hell (the smooth lager), Krombacher Weizen (Bavarian-style wheat beer) and Krombacher 0,0% for the growing alcohol-free segment.
