About Krombacher in Cameroon
Krombacher is one of Germany’s leading independent breweries – family-owned since 1803, brewed in the same Sauerland village for more than two centuries and exported to over 40 countries. In 2026 Krombacher is launching a Phase 1 partner program for Cameroon, selecting exclusive trade partners in Douala, Yaoundé and the Coast & West, and for national HoReCa.
Cameroon is one of Central Africa’s leading beer markets, with around 8 million hectolitres per year; imported beers account for around 5 percent. Demand for imported premium brands is concentrated in the business hubs of Douala and Yaoundé and in international hotels. Krombacher brings the German Reinheitsgebot of 1516 and its own protected water source, Felsquellwasser®, to this category.
The portfolio for Cameroon
Krombacher Pils is the flagship – Germany’s best-selling premium pils. The Phase 1 portfolio is completed by Krombacher Hell (the smooth lager), Krombacher Weizen (Bavarian-style wheat beer) and Krombacher 0,0% for the growing alcohol-free segment.
