Felsquellwasser®
Felsquellwasser® is Krombacher’s own protected source of natural rock-spring water, filtered over many years through the rock of the Sauerland hills.
Why it matters
Naturally soft and low in minerals, Felsquellwasser® gives Krombacher beers their exceptionally clean, smooth and characteristic finish. Water makes up more than 90% of beer — so its quality is decisive.
A protected source
The spring is protected and used exclusively for brewing. It is the single most defining ingredient of the Krombacher taste and one of the five stars on every label.
