Zutaten des guten Geschmacks
Krombacher Pils owes the unique taste and its high quality to its well-guarded brewing formula – and, abiding by the German purity law dating from 1516, to the following select ingredients:
Precious, particularly soft and low-mineral natural spring water from the Rothaar Mountains, whose excellent suitability for the noble art of brewing beer was discovered at the start of the 19th century.

The finest, carefully selected aroma hops from the Hallertau, bestowing Krombacher Pils with its distinctive aromatic taste.

In the malthouse, malt, the most important basic substance for the full taste experience, is made from two-row summer malting barley by adding water.

Incidentally, only young and particularly brewer`s fermentation-strong yeast – cultivated by Krombacher Brewery`s own master brewers – is used for the natural brewing process.
