South Westphalia summer 2003. After many months` planning and preparation, it was ready at last - Wensauer & Partner Advertising Agency and teleMAZ Film Productions started their sophisticated filming to capture fascinating images for the new generation of Krombacher pilsener beer commercials.
Dynamic camera runs over the forested hillsides of Sauerland, impressive shots of the lake glistening in the morning sun, impressions of the “Krombacher Isle”: After any number of trial runs, cameraman and director Georg Jecel was at last satisfied – the takes were “in the can”.
The best scenes of this film material were to be seen in the new Krombacher TV and cinema commercials. The accompanying sounds of the song “Belfast Child” were provided by the “Simple Minds”.
The print campaigns
The first print campaigns were started as early as in the seventies, where the focus was on Krombacher pilsener beer and the nature surrounding it with the rivers and forests – and later also the renowned “Krombacher Isle”. Since then, the objective has always been to constantly concentrate on the unique enjoyment as best as possible.
